👤 Biografi
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Andi Sunyoto adalah dosen senior di Fakultas Ilmu Komputer, Universitas Amikom Yogyakarta. Beliau menyelesaikan pendidikan S1 di Sistem Informasi Amikom pada tahun 2003, kemudian memperoleh gelar Magister (M.Kom) dan doktor (Dr) Ilmu Komputer dari Universitas Gadjah Mada masing-masing pada tahun 2007 dan 2019. Sejak tahun 2025 menjabat sebagai Wakil Dekan I Bidang Akademik Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Amikom Yogyakarta, dengan tanggung jawab utama dalam pengembangan kurikulum, mutu akademik, dan strategi peningkatan kapasitas riset fakultas.
Bidang kepakarannya meliputi computer vision, pattern recognition, artificial intelligence, digital image processing, multimedia (audio, citra, video), dan data mining. Beliau juga aktif mempublikasikan penelitian di jurnal dan konferensi internasional bereputasi, termasuk riset tentang deteksi penyakit daun tomat, klasifikasi sorban Samarinda, dan deep learning untuk analisis citra multimedia. Capaian metriks penelitian pada tahun 2025 tercatat memiliki H-index 10 (Scopus) dan 22 (Google Scholar), hal ini mencerminkan kontribusinya yang luas dalam publikasi ilmiah di tingkat global.
Selain aktif dalam pendidikan dan publikasi, ia juga telah beberapa kali memperoleh hibah penelitian kompetitif DIKTI, antara lain skema PTUPT untuk proyek Sistem Deteksi Penyakit Tanaman Kentang Berdasarkan Citra Daun Berbasis Deep Learning untuk Mendukung Pertanian Cerdas. Pada tahun 2019, ia menerima Insentif Paper dari Ristek DIKTI atas publikasinya berjudul Wrist detection based on a minimum bounding box and geometric features yang terbit di jurnal Q1. Dr. Andi Sunyoto juga berperan aktif sebagai reviewer di sejumlah jurnal internasional dan prosiding konferensi bereputasi, sekaligus menjadi pembimbing dan penguji eksternal untuk mahasiswa pascasarjana dari berbagai perguruan tinggi di Indonesia.
